Clean Share is designed to clean tracking and share identifiers from links before you send them.

Information We Collect

Clean Share does not collect, sell, store, or share personal information.

The app does not require an account, does not use analytics, does not include ads, and does not send your links to a server owned by the app developer.

How Link Cleaning Works

Clean Share processes shared text on your device. It removes supported tracking parameters from Instagram and YouTube links locally.

For Facebook and TikTok share links, Clean Share may contact the destination service from your device to resolve a short share URL into the destination URL. This request is made directly from your device to the destination service so the app can replace the share URL with the resolved post or video URL. Clean Share does not store this request or transmit it anywhere else.

Local Storage

Clean Share stores a local counter showing how many supported links have been cleaned. This counter remains on your device and is not transmitted.

Permissions

Clean Share requests internet access only to resolve Facebook and TikTok share links.
